Frequently Asked Questions
Where do these mattress dimensions come from?
The Better Sleep Council -- the sleep industry's own trade association -- and cross-checked against a second, independently published retailer chart. Both are cited by name and URL on the mattress size chart page, with the fetch date.
Is a Full mattress the same as a Double?
Yes -- "Full" and "Double" are two names for the exact same 53 in x 75 in mattress. Older furniture and sheet sets more often use "Double."
Do I need an account to use the room-fit tool?
No account, nothing saved. Every calculation runs in your browser, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
What's the difference between a Queen and a King?
A King is 16 inches wider than a Queen (76 in vs. 60 in) and the same length (80 in both) -- see the chart for the full comparison.
